It's here! Fall, Halloween, the cooler weather - I love it all! I am so excited about this time of year. I spent a wonderful day with Phi Mu ladies, remembering old times, and it was a blast. My men did sit at home, and do what men do best - watch football. I have to admit, I had to call them for an update on the game myself...I am trying to prepare for Halloween. I promised my boys I would be home in time for us to all get Halloween decorations up outside. They love it. Pumpkins, witches and tombstones are all in our front yard now. I thought I was going to have to work on Halloween costumes when Parker and Logan wanted to be Ghostbusters. But they decided against it, and chose pre-made costumes. It's choice for which I am somewhat grateful.
What are your little ones choosing this year? I am posting a picture of my boys last year, Indiana Jones and Thomas the Train. For Indiana Jones I was able to get crafty with creating the whip and knapsack, and dip-dyed Parker's white dress shirt in tea for the "dirty" look! It was fun to create. Do you love to create costumes, or prefer the ready made ones? Either way, we oughta have a lotta fun!
